The Jedi Princess and I have really really really really bad memories. In order to prevent ourselves from watching the same god-awful movie more than once, we are going to review movies and let you all know what we think.

We just watched High Fidelity.
Jedi Princess: "This movie advertised itself as being funny, but I didn't find very many parts of it funny, and most of it was depressing. And most of the characters were not likable - in fact, they were dislikable. I didn't think the way the main character talked to the camera very effective, because I didn't feel much of a connection to him anyways. I didn't want him talking to me. I thought that he deserved all the bad things that happened to him, but I don't think that was how the movie was intended."
FlyingSheep: "Well, I agree with the Jedi Princess - as much as I like John Cusack in other films, even when he played characters that were not completely likable, I was disappointed in his role with this movie. I generally like dispicable characters, but this one simply annoyed me. I did really like the bald-headed kid, and I was really rooting for him at the end when he hooked up with that girl. I was hoping that this movie would be better, as it was recommended to me from a number of people. "
Summary: Jedi Princess gives this movie a rating of "I'd rather be cleaning my pets' cages." FlyingSheep gives it a "Oh well, there goes a waste of film and good raw acting ability. Cusack should do another 80s film."
