The Jedi Princess and I have really really really really bad memories. In order to prevent ourselves from watching the same god-awful movie more than once, we are going to review movies and let you all know what we think.

This is a review of Merlin.
Jedi Princess:"Although I am a big fan of fantasy and Jim Henson I was disappointed with this
movie. My biggest problem with it was that it seemed way too long. Merlin
lived 100 years, and that is how long this movie seemed to last. Also, I
didn't like the effect that they used to make the mystical creatures appear to move
quickly. The movement didn't look natural, it just looked like the creatures
were being fast forwarded. Another main draw back to the movie was that they
chose to represent Merlin with every mistake he made in his life. Instead of
portraying him as a hero, the way that I think of him, they portrayed him as a
loser."
The Jedi Princess gives this movie a "groaning 'God let this movie be over!'".
We just watched High Fidelity.
Jedi Princess: "This movie advertised itself as being funny, but I didn't find very many parts of it funny, and most of it was depressing.
And most of the characters were not likable - in fact, they were dislikable. I didn't think the way the main character talked to
the camera very effective, because I didn't feel much of a connection to him anyways. I didn't want him
talking to me. I thought that he deserved all the bad things that happened to him, but I don't think that
was how the movie was intended."
FlyingSheep: "Well, I agree with the Jedi Princess - as much as I like John Cusack in other films, even when he
played characters that were not completely likable, I was disappointed in his role with this movie. I generally like
dispicable characters, but this one simply annoyed me. I did really like the bald-headed kid, and I was really
rooting for him at the end when he hooked up with that girl. I was hoping that this movie would be better, as it
was recommended to me from a number of people. "
Summary: Jedi Princess gives this movie a rating of "I'd rather be cleaning my pets' cages." FlyingSheep
gives it a "Oh well, there goes a waste of film and good raw acting ability. Cusack should do another 80s film."
